Very odd. The bathroom has a sink, tub, and shower but no toilet. To use the toilet, you have to go to the laundry room (w.c. is for water closet, aka toilet). I guess so it can be used if someone is in the shower or tub but not very convenient.

And with that much asbestos, I wonder if any of them are still standing.

I’ve seen that split set-up in Victorian-era homes that originally had outhouses, but never in a home built in the 1940s. It is odd…
