Haven't done this in awhile, here's Vintage Ads' behind the scenes! You can see we're really high tech when it comes to tallying votes on Contest Entries. I denote the date, the posting time, then votes. Once there are 5 entries that have 2 or more votes, I obviously don't count the entries with just 1 vote. The entries you see with a star next to the tally indicates entries I'll vote for to break a tie, as there were like 8 with 2 votes each. This is why I rarely vote on entries during contest time. Sometimes I decide while tallying votes, ie: "I'd totally would've voted for this during the contest". Other times I go thru all the finalists and then decide which ones I like. When posting finalists, I do indeed post a 'yes' in the comments. Circled ones means those are our 5 finalists. Finalists are posted above in date order to keep things as fair as possible. If one of my entries is involved in a tie breaking vote I automatically exclude it.
