So far, being an adult and planning the wedding has been keeping me busy and happy.
Mike and I finally had a chance to take some downtime to ourselves and celebrate the engagement this weekend. Since we got engaged, we've been running around like mad, visiting family and friends and whatnot, and I couldn't wait to just spend a weekend together without checking in with people.
It didn't work out that way completely, because yesterday we had to help my sister and her fiance move out of my dad's house--they'd been living there together since sometime around the bar exam, so for a good three months now. They finally got a place of their own, with sliding glass doors to the bedroom and the living room, and trees and a little patio and everything.
But Saturday--that was ours. We slept in, woke up slowly, and rolled around in bed for a while before we got up and Mike made us omelettes with peppers and mushrooms and sausage. It stopped raining, and on my way to get my nails done the clouds actually parted and it was actually sunny, for the first time in three or four straight days. Afterwards, we went to the gym, and then
