It's easy to say that now. I posted my entry right as the "hoax" happened. I really couldn't give two shits whether is real or fake. I just thought it was interesting at the moment and I felt like posting.
It would also be a great practical joke. I don't know what you're talking about. That's genius. He was also very into publicity stunts, or anything to get attention for that matter. Negative or positive. After 20 years of living as a "normal" person who would want to go back to their past and have to explain everything? It makes sense.
I think that your post is hilarious for two reasons:
1. I'm amazed anyone bothers reading my journal. 2. I'm doubly amazed that as soon as I post a non "friends-only" entry, I get replied by anonymous people.
If you're going to take time to type up something to prove your superiority, at least take credit for it or it's pointless.
For the record, yes I did assume it was probably a hoax. It seemed too unreal to be true. I also did keep track of it and learned that it was (most likely) bullshit but I don't feel the need to get on LiveJournal every day and post updates. This shit's gay and the only reason I replied to it is because it forwards comments into my inbox.
