On January 17th, I wrote an entry about nice guys finishing last because of a bad deal at Subway and other stuff, but now my view is completely changed.

I've been having such an amazing time at Planet Ink, the job is great, the atmosphere is unbelievable, and the staff are just bloody brilliant. Now, Planet Ink is pretty damn successful, really busy, and those guys make a pretty penny I would assume. But those guys are some of, if not the nicest people I've ever met. They're so helpful, all the time, very friendly, always trying to make me feel like part of the team, and above all, they're beyond generous.

I went to a restaurant this afternoon to pick up some food they had ordered, why not, they're all busy, I'm the new guy, plus they're all so damn nice, I had nothing to lose by helping them out. I got there and they were around 5 bucks short on the bill, I covered it, NO problem. They pay me enough, and are certainly nice enough to me, I didn't even think twice. I brought it back and one of them said "No change?" "Nope." "Oh wow, right on the nose, eh?" "Nah, it was like four bucks short, no big deal." So I walked away and continued washing the tattoo tubes, and then out of nowhere the guy comes back and gives me $15. They were less than 5 dollars short on the bill, and I consider them my buddies, I can easily afford to take care of the difference, but nope, they wouldn't accept that and insisted I take the money. Now there are alot of blood thirsty, cut throat rich people in this world, but these guys deserve every single penny they get. And this wasn't the only situation like this either, one of them went out and bought me a pack of jerky... I went to hand him the money and he said "Fuck off." Ha! And out of my 4 shifts there, two have been till close, and both of those ones, I was offered a beer. Now, add this to all the free piercings and tattoos I got, and these people are looking to be the nicest ever.

They're always willing to answer questions about tattooing or piercing too, I love these people, I could seriously handle working like 60 hours a week at Planet Ink, it's just such a fucking wonderful experience.

Of course, I'd love to find a way to pay these guys back, they're so nice. So if anybody has any ideas on how to kind of make it up to them, aside from working my ass off and doing the best job I can do (which I already do.), I'd really appreciate it.
