So one more thing about Argentina...my mom bought these trendy boots down there that look like something out of urban outfitters and are far too young for her. She said she was going to tango in them or something like that. Parents are weird!

Anyways, of course I finally here back from Dublin, when--when I'm on the other half of the equator. My Dad emailed me to notify me that human resources had finally called and I actually was able to find an international calling booth down there and place the phone call to accept the position. It was such a pain buying the phone card, and then typing in like three different lengthy sets of numbers and then it didn't work right the first 20 times since the cashier gave me the wrong country code, and then some of the phone instructions were in the Argentinian accents which was difficult (plus I later figured out the word for pound symbol #, which you know isn't in your usual foreign language vocabulary) anyways, the end of the story is I will be teaching Elementary ESL in Dublin.

Though it's not my first choice (high school or middle school would be first) I am really just happy at this point to have a job and be looking for an apartment. And, like my neighbor Tricia said, it is not like I don't have any experience working with kids :) What I am really psyched about is of course head to Ikea, but also having summers off to travel or to work on freelance writing etc. I really wish I could of gotten a Job it Portland--let's face it, their Granola is more posh, but it looks like I will have to make Columbus work for me in the short run...
