A mole, diggin' in a hole...

Grandmother is currently asleep in Danielle's room on an air mattress, so I can be online. Yay!

Last day of camp. We went to Boomers; I had a group of 11, one of them sick. Another boy got dehydrated and threw up, and a girl had head lice. Jackie (no, not the one I have a crush on -- there are two) had a group of one: Logan. Just Logan. Sooo not fair; I would have loved to have him all day long, just the two of us having fun. Today when he left he gave me a kiss goodbye. He cupped my chin in his little hands and gave me the sweetest peck. God, I'm going to miss that little kid like crazy. There were moments when, watching him, I actually wanted to reconsider my cynical outlook on God. The boy would just get up on stage and dance to himself, skip and wave his hands in the air and stare off at blissful, beautiful things that apparently only he could see.

But instead of hanging out with my little beam of sunshine, I took kids on the go-karts and to play mini golf for hours and hours and hours. Had a headache, felt slightly dehydrated, but all in all it was a pretty good last day. I brought my camera but never charged it, so it died just after I tried turning it on.

Steph and I attempted a movie tonight but it didn't work out. We went to a cafe and has tres leches and flan, then called it a night at 9:15 because we're old and tired. But apparently I'm not that old, because the guys working the go-karts asked me how old I was when I attempted to take my kids to ride. I looked over at the sign and it said you had to be 10. I'm just hoping that there was some clause I missed, that a child under 10 must be accompanied by someone over 18 or something like that, or otherwise ... WOW. Being mistaken for 10 is bad.

Otherwise, nothing else to report. I'm sleepy, things are dull. That was a comma splice. Oh, speaking of which, I got a postcard from Benes. Aww. I love that woman.:D

Night.
