Siena, torchure museum (come on you know your interested)
I went to Siena this past week end. basicly touristy place snore i know, but they had a torchure museum. so cool.
did you know that a form of punishment in the late 1800s was takign two pitty good spaced poles, then tie a person spread out upside down. then tyakign a huge saw and cuttign them in half. between the ass cheaks down to the navel (when you might die if your lucky) to midcheck(when you probably Die).
Another form of torcherous death, was taking a large pyramid block of wood, and lowering someone onto it, legs spead so that the pointy part goes up somewhere not nice, and their own body weight puls them down.
my personal favorite is the goat.
they tie the offender to a tree, tie his hands up, put his feet in the stocks, cover the feet in salt. then bring a dehydrated starved goat and tie it next to him. THEN the deydrated goat will preceed to lick your foot with his sandpaper like tougne. after two days fo repeated licking. your foot bassicly is down to bone. but your still alive.
