What to do...
My best friend of nearly 10 years came out to visit. Met my girlfriend (who I'm now engaged to) and admitted to my roommate that she was "jealous of my infinite happiness." She left and was pissed off at me. I called her two days later to wish her a happy birthday.
Two months have gone by. She didn't call me on my birthday. I have sense gotten engaged and moved on with my life, accepting that, well, my life would continue without her.
And she just called me. I don't know what to say to her. I don't want to share my life with her anymore, because I know she won't genuinely care.
Is there a point in calling her back?
