Vacation Part 2
After we went to Universal Studios on Wednesday we went back on Thursday. Thursday we went to Islands of Adventure part instead of Universal Studios. We road the Jurassic Park River Boat Tour in which the dinosaurs try to eat us. The T-Rex tried to chomp right as we went down this huge drop. It was fun but reminded Chris why he doesn't ride rollercoasters. We then waited in the rain to watch Simbad's 8th Adventure Show. Which was cheesy but cute. I liked that at least the Princess in the show got to kick some butt herself rather than just waiting for Simbad to save her. After that was Posidon's Fury a little "tour" through the ruin's of the Temple of Posidon. Basically it was just walking through these rooms and then watching this battle between Posidon and his evil former High Priest. I was just annoyed because the Posidon was a blonde and I always pictured him as a brunette. Chris and I had lunch at a little cafe at Universal and even got our pictures taken with the big bright parrots outside of Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville.
Friday we took it easy went by the pools and packed. Saturday we checked out of the resort at 10am and had to kill some time b/c our flight didn't eave out til 5pm. We did some gift shopping, hung out around the outlet malls and even went by Mary, Queen of the Universe Shrine. Had lunch at Qdoba and were at the airport waiting at the gate by 3pm. We had a nice vacation and that's all we could ask.
