Hmph. I feel I should intervene --
[She clicks on the recording, leaping off from the branch she's perched on. The Hunter and her exchange some blows, and Evangeline fights with her iron fan, tossing the hunter around a bit, but getting cut herself as well. There's only a shallow cut on her wing and a small wound on her face, but she licks the blood easily off. Finally, she stops with a smile, and gives her index finger a flick.]
[Strings tighten, and Evangeline has the Hunter bound one limb at a time, strings jerking them up in a doll-like fashion. Evangeline only gives a short laugh and crosses her arms, lightly tossing her book up in her one hand; she uses her right to bend him into a painful position that will render him helpless and immobile until he can break free.]
Just as I thought -- amateur.
...Kiryuu Zero -- I thought you would put up a better fight even for a fledgling. Don't be so naïve as to hope to win any fights with me like that.
[The strings won't hold the Malnosso's hunter for long, but it's more than enough for her to take her time walking leisurely away, as well as trap him for a bit. There's one last laugh before she shuts the recording off, pleased with her day.]
[[ooc: Meet Evangeline A.K. McDowell, the doll/puppet master, among other things. And yes, it is entirely possible for this to happen, but I-I-I hope no one has any problems with it...? Also, I've added a link in her introductory post to a page
that shows some of her abilities -- not all, mind you. ♥ I know that her vampiric ability to control people like puppets is a skill that she cannot have in Luceti, but I also know that her controlling people using puppet strings or invisible ones is purely physical, so I'm fairly sure that's allowed? It is entirely possible to break free, it just takes some skill, which means the Hunter will inevitably continue on his trophy hunting.]]
