My pet Asian long-tail grass lizard, died last night.
I can't help, but to get teary at the thought of me watching in horror as my lizard went into a seizure in his cage, and die at my hands.
I only had him for two days, and I thought he was under stress due to being in a new place. He ate three crickets, and I thought he was fine, until he defecated and his stool was a pea-greenish colour. I wanted to do a "shotgun therapy" to him, which is administering many different types of medicines to him for his safety.
I hadn't even picked a permanent name for him, except for 'Konglong' which means "terrible dragon" and "dinosaur" in Chinese.
He was a nice, tame little lizard, and will be missed.
