Sorry Katie, you missed out on a seriously awesome movie… though I guess you knew that already. Every time I watch it I’m reminded of what a good movie should be. Engaging, amusing and watchable. It’s that last one that is the most important. I could literally come to work every night with this DVD in my bag and be ok. I could pop it in and watch it every night. It’s a great watch the first time, and every time.
Just thought I should drop that in there, especially in what is turning out to be a horrible year for movies. Die hard, Pirates, Spiderman, I’ve lost track of all of the crappy movies I’ve seen already. With only one on the other side of the scales (1408) it has not been a banner year for Hollywood.
Anybody looking for something to do tonight, say from about 7pm-9pm, should head to the Borders right next to the Hamilton Mall to hear the sound of Awesome also known as JeNell playing live in the coffee shop.
