i'm sure you all know him, i bet he's your homie too, i've known him ever since i was a little kid and i loved him and now that i've grown up, i realized that i totally forgot about him. here's to you little buddy.sifu dan and i have decided that i will be competing in savate competition now and that i have the entire month of october to familiarize myself with how the competition works, IE rules, regulations etc. i need to fine tune my existing kicking skills into savate mode. even beto (beto ibarra, one of my instructors, coach, just all around badass fighter, you may have heard of him or seen his fights on PPV or something) said today that we really need to get me in a savate competition with my badass kicks. i really like savate now. boxe savate francais is insane, the complexities and speed of their kicks is just phenomenal and really ass kicking when you see the angles and directions that these guys can punch and kick from. they'll pull off triples, quadruple kicks to your head before you even blink. something which i taught myself hehe.
i started the filipino martial arts today, kali/escrima/silat/arnis, whatever the hell you wanna call it. it's badass and fun as hell too. i really like the stick fighting but knife fighting/disarming is crazy too. this is my life now, kinda pathetic i know but tell me that when i'm in the ring with you.
