So...my dad has been....not quite what i expected, lol. Lemmie give you a run down:
I decided that, since im going to move to MA in the near future, and it would take me about 2 years to finish my current course of study, i should drop my course of study and pick up something quicker, neater, and certified so I may have a job to fall back on. I plan to, once I get to MA, start actual college as an English major. So, I go to drop my classes, and change to my program of choice: Computer Repair Technician. WOuldn't take me long at all: just need 3 classes, one of which I have already taken. And, what luck, the class I need, which usually only is given once in a blue moon, is meeting today for the first time! GLEE.
Not glee. I get the paperwork filled out, and go to my advisor to sign up for this class, which is the MAIN class for the certificate....and the class is full. I have no chance of getting in, at all. And they dont know when they're giving it again. Ooooh...kaaay....so now im at a loss. Then I see the program of study right next to my repair thing.....basically, document processing. Spreadsheets, databases, word processing...the works. More classes, but still doable. Also, it fits better with my certification for customer service. So...I change to it. LoL...so now im signed up for 2 classes, and have to go get my books.
Down in the book store, they are out of one of the books I need x_X I'll have to get that soon, but thats not important. What IS important, is I run into a friend of mine I havent seen in quite a while. We shoot the basic shit, about school and work and such, and then I mention how I have this customer service certification, and im nto doing anything with it. He just looks at me, and tells me that i should come work with him. Im like: FUAH o_O....apparently, he's the night manager for a place that does ISP customer service....and all I gotta do is bring him a resume, and i'll probably get an interview. o_o...I am very excited. lol I may possibly get experience, and be able to leave Taco Bell.
