Poker night tonight, and I did fairly crap. Lost all my money. However, 'all my money' amounted to £4, so can't complain too much. I just got bored because the game was going rather slowly, and made a couple of reckless decisions to try and get some excitement going. *Shrugs* It happens.
Pierre, one of the regular gang, was round, and later on his girlfriend came round as well. First time we'd all met her, and gotta say, the boy's done well for himself. She's totally sound, and got a good sense of humour. More importantly, she loves taking the piss outta Pierre, so we all got on great with her. XD She's pretty hot as well, but I say that merely from an objective point of view, as eyeing up your mate's girlfriend is a no-no.
I was kinda pissed off after work tonight though; found out I was overdrawn from my account, so I have no money until payday on Friday. Might only be one day, but when I say no money, I mean literally NO money. *Checks wallet* 32p to last me the day. Piss. Probably means I'm gonna have to pay bank charges as well, which are an oh so fun way for the bank to steal your hard-earned money.
The very thin silver-lining to this is that it gives me a perfect reason to use my shiny new icon, kindly donated but they wondrous Abby. Lookit the Pikachu. Lookit, lookit!
