I have no fashion sense, except for what feels comfy. T-shirts and jeans and sneakers, or Hawaiian shirts. The lesbians I used to hang out with despaired of my style of dress, though they said I looked like an LL Bean Dykeling, most of the time.
It was fun hanging out with them. Some lesbian magazine has my photo in it from Gay Day at Disney. My friends all had dates, and I was solo, and flirting with just everyone, because it was too much fun.
It was! Though I really preferred going to Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween (regulated amount of guests, so it really seemed like there wasn't anyone there - we'd go and ride our favorites three and four times in a row).
As a kid, I never really wanted to go to Disney World and/or Land. I knew a lot of kids who went, but I never did. It would be more fun if an event was there like that.
Mom and Dad took me in '72, I think (DisneyWorld), and when we moved to FL in '75-'76, it was a regular excursion. Once I was paying my own way, I went 2-4 times a year, especially when I lived about 45 minutes north of the parks. I had friends who worked in the parks, and could get me in for free as a 'family member', or would gift me with free tickets once in a while. That's how I got to go to all of the parks, instead of just the Magic Kingdom. EPCOT never really did much for me, but I enjoyed Animal Kingdom and the movie section, though I only went to those each once with the friends who claimed me as family to take me.
I liked Universal's Islands of Adventure, but not for any holiday excursions. They were better when there wasn't anything special going on. Otherwise, IoA was too crowded to move around in, and very disappointing.
Oh, yeah. Okay, that's it: I'm never going to submit any Writer's Block questions again. A bunch of people are adding me to their friends list. So far it's a bunch of Russian people that I have no idea what their posts are about and a pervert. I blocked that guy as soon as I could. I'm expecting a lot more too.
