Movies and Television

Watched 'Rosemary's Baby' last night with my sister. It was one of those movies that freaks you out psychologically. I thought it was pretty good.

Then after waking up at noon, I watched 'Scott Pilgrim Versus the World'. Every time I watch that movie I have a great craving for underground and indie music.

I was also able to watch 'A Scandal in Belgravia'. But I must say that I was slightly disappointed by it. I didn't like how they portrayed Irene Adler. To me, her character was way too different from the person of the canon stories. Despite being brilliant, as she was in the original stories, she was too cold in the episode. I also felt that Sherlock acted very out of character about her. I know this was supposed to change him and the show by meeting her, but it flipped Sherlock over way too much. They also seemed to have crammed a lot into the episode. But it did have its moments of humour and brilliance. I won't mention anything here; spoilers, you know how it goes.

But these are just my opinions. I hope the next episode is better.
