London Riots
After researching the London Riots, I think I have made my mind up on how I feel about it. I listened to a BBC radio broadcast, a woman was saying how the youths involved in these "protests", are not exactly violent. There are just misunderstood. She even went to say that they see this as a laugh, something to do. But we adults, see it as mayhem. Bullshit. Are you telling me that these are rational people, who loot shops, burn cars, cause probably millions of pounds in damages, and they are doing these things because they are misunderstood?
I watched a video that came from Manchester. It showed the police trying to move the rioters into a controlled area with vans. In one instance, a young man, with his arm around his girlfriend (some date, huh, sweetie?), approach an officer, and the officer hit the man in the leg. That, I have no problem with. If it takes several whacks of a baton to bring someone down, or make them leave the streets, do it. Maybe that bruise will teach him to mess with the riot control.
I'm currently watching several videos. A boy, who was lying on the street, bleeding was "aided" by several youths, who helped him up, and stole what was in his backpack. What kind of fucking, sick animal would you have to be to do that to a helpless person? People like that need to be killed in a gruesome accident, where they have brought it on themselves.
Another video, I can't believe this, two girls were happy that these riots were happening. According to them, these riots show that, and I quote, "we can show the police, that we can do what we want". They were both drinking stolen wine throughout the night, and joining in on the riots. They said that "the rich people started the riots." They said that they were glad that this is happening. So you two are happy that people are losing their homes to fire, shops are being looted, families will have no way of making ends meet because their stores were destroyed or the places they worked were burned down, officers are putting their lives the line, and the taxpayers will have to pay for the government to fix all of this.
In the last video, rioters charged a group of eight officers. There were so many rioters, that the officers had to retreat, while the people threw signs, bottles, rocks, and planks of wood at them.
You people are the most ignorant, singleminded fools. Shame on you that you would do this to your city, officials, and your own people.
