Baby's big round eyes gave away the fact that she wasn't venomous, but they made her look... well, a little dopey to most people. But not to Vince, oh no, his snake was adorable, though not in the same way that a cuddly puppy was. His snake definitely did not cuddle, but he took her desire to slither on him to leech warmth as a form of affection.
His parents didn't like Baby, and for a hot minute Vince thought they wouldn't allow him back at their home with her. But they relented with the condition that she'd be sequestered to Vince's childhood bedroom. It was far more cramped than his apartment bedroom had been, but he couldn't exactly complain, getting to stay here rent free. It certainly beat being homeless. But without rent to pay, his savings grew quickly, so hopefully he'd afford a new place to live sometime soon.
After playing around with the photo editor on his cell phone for a few minutes, Vince texted his masterpiece to Kori with no other comment. Did this cute photo even need a comment?
