When I get woken up at 8 on a Saturday morning, I am fairly certain that there's something happening at home which requires my exclusive attention and which my highly resourceful and fiercely independent parents can't handle on their own. do you work for infosys?

if the answer to both is no, then i can say that your online presence will AFFECT your chances. whether it betters or worsens your chances depends on what you write on your blog (i'm afraid i haven't read much of it). for example, if you are like me and abuse temples in your blog, then you'll know that it can affect only negatively.
