Well, in the doctor's surgery I ran into yet another Old Friend I hadn't seen for 7 years; someone of immense charm, a spectacular wife, a Family which thankfully he hasn't been too overburdened by really despite his public school background; and, like me, he loves and collects different kinds of honey.
And like me he's an Auld Yin with a young child. Such FUN to have met him; I have always loved his finicky, modest, male, slightly fussy, very openly pleasure-giving-and-taking, very old-fashioned, good manners. He's a delight. And his OH is at least as jealous as mine; SUCH a bore, my dear.
'II is so anti-English sometimes; half my friends he would never be able to bring himself to like; this chap is possibly one, but I will be interested to see if their mutually good breeding outs itself, in due course.
