Well, it looks like I'll be going out of town for Thanksgiving. Way, way out of town. Guess where I'm going! Go on, guess!

Okay. I'm going to... Kansas! Yes, Kansas. Here's the part where everyone goes, "What's in Kansas?"
Tumbleweed, that's what. And Dorothy and Toto! And the merry old land of Oz if a tornado strikes!
Actually, my cousin is in the military and he's stationed in Kansas right now. He and his wife recently had a baby, and, well, we're all going down there to stare at it for a few days. It won't be the typical holiday for our family, seeing how Thanksgiving would usually be spent at our house. The baby was named after my mom, and was born on my mom's birthday. And they had already planned to name her after my mom before she was even born, so we all thought that was pretty cool.
What else?
Um, my dad is getting remarried. To some lady he met in church... less than two months ago. I have very little to say about it. She's a nice enough lady, but she's got three kids (I think), and my dad's intention to raise another set of children is totally laughable to me. I love him to death, but he's a really selfish guy who barely wanted to raise his own kids. I think he's really rushing this. The wedding is slated for July, so we have a few months to see what unfolds.
Question: If I went to see the new Harry Potter movie this weekend, would I be lost? Mind you, I've never seen any of the previous movies, nor have I read any of the books. I have a feeling I'm going to be forced to see this movie, so I just want to be prepared.
Um... anything else?
Oh yeah. I totally folded and got a relaxer. I don't wanna talk about it!
Don't you hate it when people do that? They bring up a topic and when you ask them about it, they say they don't want to discuss it.
I've been listening to a lot of Gospel music lately. I've been stealing most of it from the Internet. Hey, as long as the message is getting through, right? Or is the message getting through, since I'm stealing it? Ponder that.
You know who I need to download? Michael McDonald. I love that guy.
Does anyone know how I can get my hands on the latest Fall Out Boy album? Anybody got that? What about Gorillaz? Anyone got that?
