every once in a while, i enjoy having television. i fixed myself a nice breakfast this morning and turned on the set to watch the news. instead, i became transfixed in a documentary about the tensions between india and pakistan and the nuclear arms race there. the documentary also covered the global nuclear situation, including arms deals and blast survivors in japan. it was good TV watching. it was called "war and peace" but that was the translated title and i didn't write down the original.
