The people who designed one-way screws are destined to burn in Hell. When they get to the Pearly Gates,there will be a call from down below "That's one for use." I bought and installed a "security screen" door today. The mounting hardware is 5 inch long lag bolts with head that don't allow you to unscrew them. The problem is the that heads also don't allow you to screw them in, either! I finally resorted to vise grips and twisted them as close as I could, scraping the paint off the door, I quit using the screwdriver when I almost poked a hole in the screen when it slipped off. There must be a tool just for fastening those one-way bolts.

The door is at least functional tonight. Now we can leave the door open and not worry about someone walking in without warning.
