On hectic days
What. A. Day.
But it was a good day, I think. Aside from the scary dreams part fact that I never get up on time, all things considered today was awesome.
Also cold. But I'm not wishing away the snow! I love the way things look in winter.
Plugged the iPod into the car today so I could listen to my game music while I drove around doing the family's errands. It was quite the adventure. If I can I'm going up to the big Borders (we have like, a tiny one here in our mall) on Sunday, and it'll be just me and my music the whole way, so spiffy~
Speaking of spiffy, I need to start remembering costume things. ...Like shoes. I did manage to find the AWESOME BLUE shoes necessary for Chester, but I have to order them and just...kind of pray they fit. Still, they're the right color, what more can I ask for? Also need those sandals (oh lord my feet will die) and to investigate what the heck else shoes that girl wears. Maybe my old black sneakers will do.
Hard to believe it's been half a year since Otakon. ...It feels like forever. I WANT YOU ALL BACK PLEASE. Like now. Come visit! I'm not busy!!
Babysat my cousins for...oh, about 6 hours. Pizza, crafts, LOTS of TV. But we watched Avatar together and each of them only cried once, so it wasn't too bad. Tomorrow morning I'm getting up early to go skiing. Yay skiing! I got new ski pants last weekend (old pants are old! and falling apart) and also new poles (LOVE them black & white pattern makes me giggle. Miss my bent purple ones though) so snow adventure is go. And if the snow here is any indication I'm going to be going FAST tomorrow, yay fast!
