On Christmas memeing
Once you are tagged you must post this in your journal and list 6 of your weirdest habits/tendencies/facts about you. They can be serious, silly, ridiculous - whatever! Then tag six more people at the end.
1) At the start of every Spider Season (early spring and mid-fall) I make a deal with those despicable creatures - out loud - that goes thus: "You know the rules. I belong inside, you belong outside. You come in here, and your life is fair game." I feel less guilty about killing them then. I am very arachnophobic.
2) I have a tendency to make references, whether out loud, in writing, or in posts, to other events/ironies that only I am thinking about or could possibly understand. And then I don't explain them. It confuses people, and often confuses me if I come back to it later, but it's a habit I can't kick.
3) I can cross one eye while the other eye stares straight at you or makes circles around my eye socket.
4) Most of the time, if someone says a random word to me I can tell them how many letters are in the word instantly, without even counting. (This does get more difficult upwards of 8 or 9 letters.)
5) I love fonts. Especially fonts that are made to look like the things they're named (like a font called 'Daisy' that has flowers blooming on the letters or something) or game-specific ones like fonics. Oh how I do love fonics. To the point that I memorized the alphabet. Beetl.
6) I've noticed recently that when I speak aloud I'm not using contractions, and emphasizing the 'not' of the non-contractions. "I do not want to go there!" instead of just don't. It feels weird to me whenever I notice it.
