The computer is broken. This isn't mine, it's a loaner until they fix mine.
Last night the internet wasn't working. Sometimes a restart will kick the wireless into action, so I hit "Start - restart computer" and when it came back on I got this message:
I was understandably WHAT THE HELL about this, so I tried using the button to turn it off and got the same thing. So I hit F5 and it ran a few test (admittedly, the colorbars one was really cool) and came up with an error that was like 0124 or something. But I couldn't get on the internet to search for what that was.
So today at UNIT (tech support) they said vell, your hard drife, she is bad. I figured that out, thanks. And they said vee haf to eraze eet. (Yes, UNIT does speak in evil accents in my head.) And they also said they'd try all they could to get the my documents stuff off the computer before they killed it.
I can re-download abyss videos and go hunting for images all over again, no big deal really. And most of my old old stuff is on the flashdrive from the first computer. The Sims 2 files are also gone but heck, that game's always been transitory for me. I can't think of anything absolutely urgent that was on there that I'm about to lose...
But I'm losing all my music. And iTunes just upped their prices.
And this loaner computer isn't nearly as nice as I'd like it to be. So if I'm not around much until I get the real thing back, that's why.
