On Epiphanies

Okay.

So I went to the dentist today. And I got to do the victory dance because I don't have to go back until the summer. It was awesome and I have no mouth problems as of right now and that makes life super.

But on Friday I have to retake my lifeguard and CPR certification tests. The CPR one I've taken for three years in a row because recertification is once a year, so it won't be a big deal. The lifeguarding test I'm a little more worried about, since it covers like ten chapters and I initially took the test after completing a semester-long CLASS on it. But there's only one in-water part because it's new stuff - using a backboard, if you want to know.

I don't really care. I'm borrowing a 'victim' from the swim team and she'll be thrilled to get out of practice for half an hour while I learn how to do it and then am tested on it.

JUST ONE PROBLEM. SUDDENLY AND UNEXPECTEDLY AND I THOUGHT I WAS GOOD UNTIL I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL.

But this is a prime example of my life and overall it's something I get to laugh about.

Now, to play Vesperia. Because I have to spend tomorrow (while not getting my nails done) studying and then a bunch of us are having a good old-fashioned sleepover...oh. Damn. Shoot. Oh well, that's life.

lifeguarding, life is good, irony, friends, tales of, life, life is funny that way, issues
