The worst time of the year because it always meant one or two things; first he'd either have to suck up and deal with the bad weather, bad clothes, bad manners and terrible food of London. Secondly he had to deal with London herself, always the charming one that one which meant his time spent away from home was most likely to be the worst. Of course he could always say, not deal with her and go off on his own but that would mean having to face the streets of this place himself and to be honest he was not much interested in getting mugged just quite yet.
Still, perhaps that wouldn't be such a bad thing--being mugged that is, not being here--because that meant he wouldn't have to suffer by having no choice but to eat this food. Swallowing uncomfortably as he lifts his fork, poking at one of the masses of food in front of him as he gives up trying to guess what it is and instead and decided to ask the source of this current issue.
"Londres, mon chéri... I 'ave to ask. This is supposed to be food you are serving, oui?"
