Diet Pepsi Blows

For some reason this computer won't let me open itunes. Shut up, computer. Even though I doubt my mother has "Total Eclipse of the Heart" on her computer. Blast.

So I watched Domino tonight. And I know I'm gonna lose some friends over this, and by some I probably mean, you know, all, but I'm gonna come down on the side of I Like Domino. It was pretty awesome. Even though I'm not really sure what the point of the movie was. Plot, I mean. I think we all know what the point was (Keira Knightley is very hot. Observe.). But the plot was just weird. And then there was this weird prophecy thing and I'm not sure if/when certain characters died and I don't really know why she was being interrogated at all. It's odd. My personal favorite part was where she punched Brian Austen Green in the face. Yes, you read that right. Let's go watch Domino RIGHT NOW. And by right now I mean when I get back. If you're not too busy kicking me out of your lives 'cause I'm really into Domino. Seriously, there were 90210 cast members (yes, that IS plural) and Christopher Walken and a completely out-of-nowhere lap dance and violence and you know how some actresses are totally willing to get naked as long as it's a good movie or could potentially be a good movie? Keira Knightley not so much. A lot of the movie revolves around that she's really hot. And I'm OK with that, but really it wasn't why I liked the movie. OK, it might have been. But she PUNCHED BRIAN AUSTEN GREEN IN THE FACE.

Oh! My parents are cool with the whole staying-here-the-night-before-the-RPI-tournament thing. There is the interesting little detail of they won't be here, but that's OK 'cause I will. And that just means I'll be in charge. And we all know how much I love my little power trips. That's why I want people to start practicing in the May Room on Saturdays. So that when April 22 roles around, you all can be like, "Wait, we don't have the reservation? Who does?" and they will tell you and I'll smile nicely and be like, "Hm....no." And you'll be like, "What Earthy thing is to be in the May Room?" and I'll say, "Not fencers." and you will why you are friends with me. And then I'll tell you it's so you can have the May Room, but you must ask very nicely. You must ask me, the girl who OWNS Wilson Commons on April 22. And then, you must dance for my amusement.

I swear I kind of had a reason for this update.

I wonder when my return train is. I had it written down. In my datebook. Which, see last entry, Berdine has. I should call him and have him look. Oh, wait.

I could have him look. But I won't. 'Cause then he'll look in the datebook. And he'll be like "...she has Victor Garber's birthday marked down in here. She doesn't have my birthday marked down in here." And people will laugh at him. Which would be mean. 'Cause I don't have any of your birthdays written in there, either. That's not true. Actually, it might be. I don't know. If people wish to go through my datebook, all you'll find is my sad, sad Spring Break Work Schedule that I'm already behind on because I spent the train ride worrying Allie wouldn't pick me up since I couldn't contact her and sleeping and watching Grey's Anatomy which the girl diagonal from me was watching. But it didn't have sound. So I watched it soundless. Grey is annoying. Her first name is Meredith, right? See, I read entertainment news. TV news. Anyway, annoying. And I couldn't even hear her speak. Apparently, there are voice-overs. And I didn't know! I called "Annoying!" 'cause of her posture and her pathetic unsure face when she talked to patients. Get a spine, DOCTOR. Damn. She made Eliot on Scrubs look like....Turk on Scrubs.

I'm thinking about getting ready for bed and then turning on Pride & Prejudice and falling asleep to it. Swooning myself to sleep if you will. I might. Keira Knightley double feature.

So after I got here, and you've all read that story, I chilled with the sisters. And then surprised my mother. And learned she was very angry I wasn't coming home until Monday. Very angry. But that was a lie. And! She's going to this library conference thing where she will get Charles de Lint to sign me a book! Yay! I hoped she'd meet him, too, but probably not. Still! Yay! And then Allie made cookies and I ate way too many and then later we went out to dinner and it was good and I surprised my father and then we went to Barnes and Noble and came back here and watched Domino. Good times.

I should change up the blogs I read. Because 50 Books kind of bugs lately. And yet I still read it. And I read Uncle Bob every now and then, and he's cool, but the commenters annoy the fuck out of me. OK, to recommend some good ones: The Red-Head Papers are good. L.A.me is HILARIOUS at times. I'm a big fan of Pamie.com and I find so much cool internet stuff through Pop Culture Junk Mail. Oh! And I pretty much tore apart the Tomato Nation archives this summer. Good stuff. This is all pretty much through Damn Hell Ass Kings so there's some more stuff.

And I'm big into The Julie/Julia Project.

I so need to buy Tegan & Sara albums. I miss.

OK, this shall end now. 'Cause long. And pointless. Don't you miss me?

movies, books, interesting..., family
