"Contemplate defilement," Lucius said quietly to the small boy in front of him. "Purity comes from knowing what could defile it."
His son nodded, blond hair gleaming in the sunlight. Lucius nodded and sent the boy on his way, turning to face his wife.
"And what of you, Narcissa?" he asked, touching her face. "What could defile you?"
"You, and you alone, Lucius," she murmured, tilting her face up to kiss him.
He smirked. "I think your theory could use some work, love. Shall we retire and test it?"
She shivered as she acquiesced. His words always held promise.
