FIRST NOVELIST SHOW NEXT WEEK!!
hello internet friends.
some of you may be aware that i have been working on a new musical project called NOVELIST.
we are playing our first show this coming thursday, October 6th.
we will be opening for KAYO DOT- one of the most exciting new bands in years. orchestral post-rock/experimental metal.
if you are a fan of: NEUROSIS, PELICAN, MOGWAI, ISIS, RED SPAROWES, OLD MAN GLOOM, SWANS, etc. there is NO reason you should miss this.
this is kind of a last-minute thing for us- but we will be ready. however, it will be slightly different than a "normal" NOVELIST show (when those start happening). we will be playing as a 2-piece. myself on guitar (& maybe some drums) and Ryan McMullen on drums (& maybe some guitar). Ryan was in a great Buffalo band called Elad Love Affair and currently plays guitar with MINUET.
the show will be @ Mohawk Place (47 E. Mohawk St - Buffalo, NY) and will start at 8 PM.
i would love it if a lot of friends came out for support. not only for my new project- but for KAYO DOT- a truly unique, awe-inspiring band.
