Yesterday I got a call from a long time Dallas friend, Marion Gibson, asking if it was true that I am dead! It seems at least one loop of our East dallas old time friends had gotten the tenses mixed up in discussion of my condition and word was going around that I had already passed away. She told me that she did not believe I would do anything like that without emailing her first. I assured her that I would try and follow through on that plan. One thing that this event brings to mind is that we do need to get a good email list and phonelist together so that we can notify friends and family when these rumors do become reality. It also makes me more aware than ever, of the problem of not getting a few days posting up on my blog and the kinds of concerns it might bring up with friends and loved ones. I have not been able to do too much posting lately. It has been a big adjustment time with medications, some successes, some failures. And a lot of things that make it less likely for me to be able to sit down and write a reasonable and coherent entry for the live journal. (Gail is writing this one for me) For future reference, if you do get anxious, feel free to call us or put a posting on the blog and we will try and address your concerns. Thats all for now from the land of the living.
