Time for another rant
So, looking at this journal, it seems like I post once every two weeks or so on average. Recently, the posts have been stupid online quizzes and not even updates on my life which might annoy some of you but since nobody except for people who wish to criticize me even reads this journal, I don't feel too bad.
I've been rather busy lately as I had midterms which went much better compared to last term and I'm very pleased about that. My dad was supposed to come to the island last week but due to Air Jamaica going bankrupt, his flight got cancelled and now mom is coming instead in two weeks. It'll be nice to see her and especially nice if she decides to cook for me because a good home cooked meal is something I really miss. Things are going pretty good with my friends here. Things with friends back home however, are not going as smoothly as I would like but since there is little I can do to improve things in that area, I guess I'll just have to deal with the circumstances as they stand right now.
Baseball season is almost here. I have my most important draft this thursday and boy, am I looking forward to that. It's going to be great. I already have a baseball league going with my cousin, his friends and my brother. This league is my fun league because there are 18 teams and depth is really an issue so only people that understand what matters in fantasy are going to do well and that part is exciting to me because unlike last year, luck will have less to do in determining the winner. This year, I would like to go to Fenway Park and Yankee Stadium again because the last time I visited both in the same summer, my team won the world series. Why mess with success?
