Haidate for everyone!
Who says there are no more LS events? The lsmes clearly indicates one was scheduled minutes before it began! Must have sucked missing out on this!
First, I'm kind of surprised they haven't done away with the Blue and Yellow gates in sky after all these years. They made it so you don't need to hit the switches in Eldieme and stuff like that, so why not this? Eh, whatever. One of the things that happened with me spending time in Sky the past couple days is some time looking at maps online.
Now, I've collected tons of Gems/Stones from Mog Gardens and whatnot, to the point where I'd do a half dozen of each of the gods at a time, convert the seals to scraps, rinse, repeat. Now, this is a stupid thing to do alone because with TH, the drop rate on a second seal is over 50% maybe? I'm not sure, but I waste a lot because of that.
The problem was that Byakko was always the stupid stupid thing to get to. Remember back in the day? Someone might go to the main entrance to the room with both switches, then end up getting tractored over or something because the stairs are blocked? Oh yes, and half the alliance would be dying because people forgot silent oils or were bad about re-applying them. In fairness, they were random as hell durations back then, and I'm not sure if you even had any indication of when they were wearing, at least not compared to now.
So how the hell do you even get there? You have to go through the Blue gates to get there, but you need Yellow open just to get to the center, and there's no switch on the way to yellow. Sure, you could flip the switch, then go all the way around, but when you finish killing the stupid thing, the blue gate is open and you have to do that all again, rather than at least being able to "zoom" through it.
What's that you say? The Celestial Nexus HP Crystal bypasses the yellow side completely and has a blue switch just before the blue gates? D'oh! Now I almost feel bad about throwing away some Gem of the West/Autumnstones because I wouldn't feel like figuring out which mule I could send them to. Not that bad, because it's not like there's any money in this. 30k for the kill, 5k for a mug. Drops are worthless, and the only little money is from the shards from seals, which don't sell super frequently and are bazaar only. It's for ~the adventure~ damnit!
I now have 10 of the kitty pants because... why not. Drops by fight, where "seal" indicates a second one that fell to the ground. sadface
