I've decided to play with an email scammer from, if her email address is to believed, Turkey. Perhaps the reason I didn't fall for this 'clever' scam was the fact that 'she' claimed to be from Africa.
Details people, details.
Anyhow the initial message was the usual BS about a family fortune that would be lost due to the imminent deaths for the family that owns it, an offer to me to control the money as a fund to help people, yadda yadda. It ended with the line 'Your sister in Christ'. Now normally I ouldn't reply, however since it was early and since I wanted to try the email function on my Palm TX I decided a short 'I'm Jewish' reply would suffice to put her off. Wrong.

Dear Brother,
How are you and your family.
I received your mail, and I want you to know that religion did matter in this, but all I know is that I want to use the fund to help people that are really in need.
Please if you are interested in help me pleazse forward your full details so that i can forward it to my attorney who will handle the transaction for us.
I wait your reply.
Your Beloved Sister
Mrs Victoria Williams"
Ok so this calls for an up the ante thing. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to go any further with this if this really does work.
My Reply:
"Dear Mrs. Williams
In these trying and difficult times I'm sure we both agree that there are many people who would use the good intentions of others for their own personal gain. Even more unfortunate is that over the Internet anyone can be anything they want to be and checking this is difficult to impossible. After a through search I could find no mention of either yourself or your husband. As such I really have no way to confirm your identity or even your gender. If you are who you say you are please send a full nude picture of yourself(so I may confirm your gender) and in this picture please be holding a piece of paper with my email address and your email address written on it.
Waiting for your prompt reply "
Wow if this works I'm going to try this on all the scammers I encounter. Isn't there a site somewhere devoted to things like this?
