developing a festive feeling
Well this is excellent. I have all my presents bought, but three (and I know what I'm getting for those), and everything else wrapped up, wirh three lots to post tomorrow. But basically, I'm sorted. This time last week it seemed most unlikely I ever would be! I also have given up on finding a tree small enough to not require throwing out an armchair, or putting it on the table, so compromised with a little poinsettia for the mantlepiece, and hanging some of the decorations elsewhere. So we have christmas in the bachelorette pad afterall, and this week I'm hoping I'll start to really feel like it.
I also have a star and my christmas sheep hanging from my wardrobe doors (ie. at the back of the living room). Once I've finished wrapping, and had the big pre-guest clear-up of books, papers etc tomorrow, it will looks and feel really lovely, I think. Not that it doesn't anyway, but especially so. Cosy cosy cosy.
