As if there were not few enough distinct buildings, now more have been reduced to rubble. Some ruins are fascinating, but new rubble lacks elegance or interest. Machu Picchu, the destroyed buildings are not. We know who went in and out of these

I'm sure after all the commotion the rubble will be fascinating. But with someone dead... I don't think I'll be doing that for a while.

But it's new rubble. Unless perhaps it opened up something underground; then it could be interesting.
