The 'Curse' Day
Hello All!
May the 27th has traditionally been a day of disaster... It is one of those days that comes round every year that I have to plan for... like christmas... my 'curse' day if you will.
Over the last few years though, my planning has paid off.
Usually I would make sure that I had nothing that needed doing that day, assignments, engagements, and so on. Most importantly, I would NEVER EVER embark on something that had a small but reasonable chance of catastrophic failure.
Of course, again, my planning had been paying off, which led me to believe that perhaps this whole 'curse' thing was in my head, or at worst the curse had since expired...
So yesterday I did what I was doing, where I was at, and embarked upon a deeply unprofitable venture lol. Not in money, thankfully, and its something I'll look back on and laugh.
I'll keep it a secret until I do (probably a week or two from now). But my god... THE CURSE IS REAL. OMFG I HATE the 27th May!!!
Tomorrow night is Wench Night Though. Which is, thankfully, not the 27th May. I'm certainly looking forward to it, and the saturday night after it ;)
