The water so warm that day
I was counting out the waves
And I followed their short life
As they broke on the shoreline

This brought back memories of when I had to leave her to go on vacation. I was always thinking of her and as I watched the waves break on the sand, I dreamed of her being there with me. It's hard to accept that those dreams that I had at the beach will never come true. I struggle to smile, but I am thankful that she's finally happy.
