I bought the kindle version of this book recently and just read it over the last couple days on my laptop. It was so wonderfully magickal that I couldn't stop reading until I could no longer see the screen. lol I absolutely love this book and can't wait to get the next one in the series. I think I will have to splurge and get the paperback this time though, as reading a whole book on the computer screen is too hard on my eyes. :) Plus, I know that I will want to read this one again before too long.
Vila Spiderhawk, who is a member of this site, is fast becoming one of my favorite authors. Her writing in this book is so beautifully descriptive that I felt as though I were in the forest along with her characters. I laughed with them, celebrated the Sabbats with them and grieved with them.
I am so looking forward to reading the next one. If you enjoy stories of magick and wonder, I truly think you will love this book. You can find more information about this book on Vila's page.
Here is a link to Vila's website also. Her site has links to purchase the books, and I do believe it has excerpts from some of her books as well. [Yes I do. In fact, I offer a free downloadable chapter from each of my books on my website]
