I've been experimenting with cooking lately, and even though it's tooting my own horn, it's been amazing!

I made a soup tonight that tastes very very similar to zuppa toscana soup.

Italian sausage, crushed red pepper, skim milk, onion, chicken broth, water, parsley, kale, potatoes, garlic, and pepper. Cook the sausage in the oven (I used turkey sausage). 1 part chicken broth to 1 part water to a pot. Add 1 whole chopped onion, garlic, some parsley, pepper and red pepper. Slice the potatoes and add them. Cook for about half an hour. Add crumbled sausage and about 1 cup skim milk. Then tear off kale and add to soup. And oh my gosh, it's amazing.

The other day I made a killer roasted lemon asparagus with a raspberry/poppy seed chicken.

It makes me wish I had gone to culinary school.

Anyway, off to dishes now. Yay. Not really.
