Nicholas Wolfwood, your gun has been repaired. I've made a few of the modifications I mentioned earlier. The balance is improved, as well as the reload time, and the recoil should be lighter. You may want to test it before you use it in combat: it will take time to get a feel for the changes.

Where shall I bring it?

It's done!?

I'll pick it up at the forge.

Thanks! I'll be o'er right away!

Strange. I was under the impression that he had only just arrived when he sought out a mechanic to repair his weapon. Do you know him?

[Have a kind laugh.]

You certainly sound like you're keeping busy.

Busy? Cecil, I'm afraid I've quite forgotten what it's like to have free time! [he's joking, of course, but it's closer to the truth than he'd like it to be, war sucks]

[jovial tone is jovial. And he has a habit of mommy-ing. cry.]
Then you should share your duties, lest you run yourself to the ground!
..Is there ought I can do?

Aha, I exaggerate. Now that this gun is complete, I will find myself with too little to do, I think. [unspoken is, "now that we don't have a brigade to train..."] But if there is a task I can assign you, I will inform you immediately.
