Some of the questions for this month are either stupid (e.g. what is the brightness level on my phone, seriously?) or bloody intrusive, so there will be more than usual omitted.
1. Have you ever been caught outdoors away from shelter during a thunderstorm?
No, but many times in a storm, or just Auckland's attack rain - thanks to
imhilien for that so descriptive term. When I lived there I often arrived at work or home soaked to the skin, or to the thighs if I had an umbrella, because evil subtropical rain bounces right back at you.
2. Did you ever build furniture forts as a child?
Not of furniture, but loads outside in bushes or trees or on the platform my father built in a large tree in our garden.
4. When was the last time you used a disposable camera?
When I went for a flight in a Tiger Moth three years ago.
5. When was the last time you flew on a plane?
When we went to Auckland to see the first two (i.e. Episodes 4 and 5) of Star Wars with the music done by the Auckland Philharmonic.
JUST AWESOME! (The concerts, not the plane, even though I sat by Shane Cortese who played Loki in The Almighty Johnsons.)
I'm feeling nostalgic for those carefree pre-Covid days.
