Sorry, guys, I know I've been more active about posting lately, but right now I'm caught up with editing and revamping the second part of my fairy dissertation. I'm also busy with reading the Finno-Ugric volume of "The Mythology of All Races", an awesome anthology on world mythologies written in the 1920s and republished in 1964. As soon as I'm done editing the second fairy essay for you guys I'm going to put it up. As for my Oz story...that's going to wait as I'm not done with the second chapter and don't really know how to conclude it just yet.
Anyway, my interview with Trader Joe's went well and I hope to hear back from one of the managers by Wednesday. If not, I'll give them a call Wednesday or Thursday afternoon. I have to get on with applying to more jobs, but it's so hard to find one I'm qualified for. Last August, I got my certification in phlebotomy (drawing blood from hospital patients) but I haven't had a chance to work yet because no one wants to hire someone just out of school and with no pediatric/geriatric experience (we could only practice on healthy, willing adults and each other in phlebotomy school). *le sigh*
I'll be sure to write up a mythology/folklore post about Ireland for St. Patrick's Day. Just have to decide what to talk about first! What are some aspects of Irish mythology/folklore that you guys are interested in and/or want more info about?
