New home narrowed down
We put our application in today for a "Deluxe apartment in the sky" downtown St. Paul. It's small. But we get a pool/hot tub/sauna, exercise room, party room, parking ramp, amazing views from the 26th floor, tennis and basketball courts, and a great location right downtown. Oh and countertops! Yay!
Then we'll look at a house tomorrow. It's 3 bedrooms, garage, quiet street, right by the old Schmidt brewery, small garden too.
There is about a $5/month difference between these two places so it's gonna be a tough final decision.
I think I'll be happy with either one. I loves the hot tub/downtown. I loves the entire house to ourselves, close to downtown.
Win/win.
Other places we looked at either had no parking, planes and buses screeching through, scary neighbors, or no parking whatsoever.
I feel like it was a productive weekend.

TROY WAS RIGHT ABOUT THE KITCHEN AND OUTLETS AT THIS TOWNHOUSE. HE WAS RIGHT. THERE ARE NO COUNTERTOPS AND WE ARE TRIPPING OVER EXTENSION CORDS TO HAVE LIGHT IN THE LIVING ROOM. HE SAW THAT RIGHT AWAY AND HE WAS RIGHT AND I SHOULD HAVE BELIEVED HIM.
