Hello, Hope everyones having a great time having their wishes granted, I will be going through and granting some soon :)
These are mine
Post to my friend. My best friend Kat (24) is very ill (with a brain tumour and various other things, its not cancer but causes all sorts of problems), the past 3 christmas' have been tough for her, last christmas she had to go to the hospital on christmas eve and christmas day, the year before that she was in hospital (during a 6 month admission), and the year before that she was also in hospital (during a 9 month admission). So things are tough for her. Being so isolated she loves hearing from anyone. You can read more about her on www.caringbridge.org/europe/kitten username harry password potter She loves cats, rainbows, anything to do with New York and America (although she's not been), cards to decorate her wall (she is bedbound so looks at the same wall all the time), Tigger and most of all just hearing from people. Emails sent to a seriously ill child: please go to www.postpals.co.uk click "find a pal", pick a childs page and email them (via the send a smile button), talk about yourself, your pets, looking forward to xmas etc, just like you would to any child reguardless of if they have cancer or not.
Paper Cranes- I LOVE papercrains. I developed a real thing for them when my health got worse. Apparently if you have 1000 paper cranes you get a wish. I hope one day to have 1000 but right now I have the grand total of 10! So only 9990 to go! The problem is try as I do I can not seem to make them! They are meant to be simple (http://monkey.org/~aidan/origami/crane/) but I just can't do it. I would love to have a box with cranes that had been given to me and a note attached about the person who folded it for me.
