Some of you may know I have been fighting for medical help, one of the reasons the pct have turned down my case is there is no medical based evidence that the treatment would improve my ability to do housework. I kid you not, my doctor is fighting for funding for a ward and is also being asked to prove patients ability to do housework will improve. I couldn't help but write this:
'Vikki went into hospital only able to dust surfaces she could reach from bed. After intensive physiotherapy and medical support she has progressed to using a feather duster as both her strength and coordination improved. We feel optimistic that one day she may be able to stand long enough to operate a light weight Hoover although we feel she may never regain the ability to scrub floors. Patient discharged back to GP but may be referred back to our services should the housework ability decline'
