Noriko was sitting on her couch between Rin and Akira laughing.
“Can you guys believe this?” she asked holding her sides when Mizumi shushed her from the floor. “I want to hear this.”
Noriko rolled her eyes before training them on the television.
“Oh brad, I’d love to marry you it’s all I ever wanted we were meant to be from the moment I saw you.”
The couple kissed and there was music and a sunset in the background.
‘Oh give me a break!’ Noriko thought rolling her eyes, ‘This is so corny…’
“If you would like to be on the next upcoming season of the bachelor…or the bachelorette go to-”
Noriko turned off the TV and the other girls groaned, “Nori-chan, what’s your deal?!” Akira yelled hitting her with a pillow.
“I just don’t think it’s healthy to watch this much garbage in one night is all.” Noriko said getting up, “You guys know this was all completely fake right?” She walked towards the kitchen while Rin and Akira rolled their eyes and Mizumi shook her head sighing.
“I mean seriously, how can you fall in love in that short amount of time? And all those people were WAY too good looking and just perfect with their words! I swear they’re actors.” Noriko yelled from the kitchen.
Mizumi got up, and walked into the kitchen. “Are you sure about that Noriko? Do you really believe no one can fall in love in that amount of time?”
“No way it’s possible.” Noriko said closing her refrigerator with her foot. “You need more than…what is that a month?”
“Three months Noriko.” Rin said joining Mizumi and Noriko in the kitchen, “I’d say that’s a fair amount of time to get to know someone.”
“Not possible.” Noriko said shaking her head and drinking milk right from the carton.
“Ugh, Noriko, come on other people have to drink that.” Mizumi said.
“Akira and I have the same germs we are twins…Ne Akira!” Noriko yelled wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.
“Always and forever dear twin.” Akira said grinning, “Don’t you have to go to the bathroom now?”
Noriko gave her a shocked look, “Alright now that’s just freaky.”
“…And disturbing.” Rin whispered to Mizumi who nodded silently. Noriko walked past them and went to the bathroom.
Mizumi sighed, “You know why she acts like this right…”
“Please don’t bring him up Mizumi.” Akira said sighing, “I hate even mentioning him…”
Rin turned away from them both and then grinned mischievously, “You know we could make her eat her words.”
“What are you talking about Rin?”
“Sign her up to be the next bachelorette of course.” Rin said grinning, “Come on it’d be a funny joke.”
Akira folded her arms, “I’m against this.”
“If she did meet someone maybe she won’t talk about love that way…” Mizumi said thoughtfully, “I’m sure it could happen to her…”
“I’m not hearing this.” Akira said, “And normally I’m all for messing with my twin but this…”
“Come On Akira.” Rin said leaving the kitchen and going to Noriko’s laptop. “Akira type in her password I know you know it.”
“I won’t be a part of this…losing my Noriko’s innocents on some show.” Akira said dramatically and Mizumi grinned.
“Jealous are we?” Mizumi asked when Rin yelled in triumphantly.
“What are you guys doing on my computer?” Noriko asked walking back into the living room.
Mizumi got up and smiled at her, “Signing you up for the Bachelorette.”
Noriko looked at her and laughed, “No really what are you doing…”
“You mean what we did.” Rin said grinning and turning the computer to face her. Noriko saw the screen and her jaw dropped to the floor.
“Told you.” Mizumi said laughing.
“I was against this from the beginning.” Akira said nodding.
Noriko looked at them all and rushed towards her computer when Mizumi grabbed her around the middle and they went tumbling to the ground.
“I must delete EVERYTHING!” Noriko screamed clawing at the hardwood floor trying to get to her laptop.
“IT’S FOR YOUR OWN GOOD!” Rin yelled snatching up the laptop.
Noriko stopped struggling and lay down with her face in the floor and mumbled.
“I’m sorry?” Mizumi asked getting off of her.
“She said I hate you.” Akira supplied sitting on the couch.
“You do not.” Rin said crouching down to her face, “Plus this is good for you, you’ll get to meet all different types of men…”
“I don’t care!” Noriko said sitting up on her knees, “This was a major violation of privacy! And you know that I’m not looking to date anyone.”
“You know that’s only because of what happened with M…”
“DON’T YOU DARE SAY HIS NAME!” Noriko roared she then stood up and walked out the room angrily. Akira sighed, “Told you guys it was a bad idea.”
“I didn’t think she’d get that angry.” Rin said, “Maybe this was too far.”
“Um.” Mizumi said looking thoughtful, “She’ll get over it and I’m sure something good will come out of it.”
“The only good thing that could come out of this is if Noriko doesn’t get chosen at all.” Akira said nodding. “You better hope she doesn’t.”

Noriko was laying on her stomach in her green and blue pajama shorts and light blue tank top pouting. Two weeks had passed since Rin and Mizumi’s little prank, and she hadn’t heard from them since.
“Nori-chan smile for your twin.” Akira said grinning at her.
“No, cause you were in on it.” Noriko said turning her head away from Akira, who sighed.
“Look, you haven’t been contacted in anyway, so obviously you won’t be picked.” Akira said standing up, “Get over it okay.”
Noriko suck her tongue out at Akira as she turned to walk in the kitchen, Noriko sighed, “They didn’t have to do that though…” she said lightly, “Rin even hacked my computer! I liked that password you know.”
Akira shook her head as she bent over in the fridge looking for something to make. “As I said before get over it.”
‘Akira’s probably right…though I’ll never admit it.’ Noriko smiled, ‘those two thought I was actually interesting or uninteresting enough to be on that show…pssh get real.’ Noriko lifted herself up and looked over the blue armrest to watch Akira move around in the kitchen.
“Alright…I forgiv-”
There was a knock on the door and Akira looked out of the doorway of the kitchen and stared at her, “Did you invite Rin or Mizumi over?”
“No.” Noriko said rolling off the couch to her knees before standing up, “Did you?”
“I just asked you weirdo.” Akira said smiling, “Get the door.”
“I don’t wanna.” Noriko said folding her arms and pouting.
“I’ll make you food.” Akira said grinning.
“Damn you.” Noriko sighed and answered the door, and as soon as she did a woman dressed in a black pencil skirt, black dress shoes and a crisp white shirt stood there. She had on designer glasses and her black hair was in a ponytail.
“Are you Noriko Kinjo?” she asked with a small smile.
Noriko nodded dumbly and the woman grinned broadly. “Hello Noriko Kinjo, I’m sure you’ve seen me before I’m Yamamoto Yori, the host of the Bachelorette.”
Noriko’s mouth opened but no words would come out of her mouth. Akira walked over to her and then she looked at Yori wide eyed.
“Do…you know who you are?!” Akira said excitedly, “We watch the Bachelorette all the time!” then she paused, “Wait…are you…” she looked over at Noriko but she was gone and Yori and Akira both heard a thud.
Noriko lay unconscious on the floor.
